As part of what I’m hoping to make a recurring feature, I’ve put together a list of what’s currently quite collectable, quirky and downright cool that I would personally love to receive (hint hint PokéMom). I’ve tried to keep the products quite recent and things that will be readily available. If I’ve missed something that you think is 🔥then drop a comment below!
Everyone is different though, have a chat with the recipient (as subtly as you’d like!) to find out what they’re collecting to really make the gift hit right. All prices are correct at time of writing.

Pokémon Funko Pops
Funkos Pops have been around for a long time, but with the recent addition of Base Set Pokémon they make for a great desk or bedroom ornament. I’ve personally got Pikachu, but look how adorable this Charmander is!!
Prices range from around £10 – £20 per Funko.

Hidden Fates Booster Packs
Hidden Fates is one of the most popular sets to have been released in a long time. There are tonnes of beautiful full art cards and plenty of shining cards, so you’re sure to get some really impressive pulls in a few packs.
Prices are currently around £8.99 per booster.
£20 – £50

Shining Fates – Pikachu V Box
Shining Fates is an incredibly saught after set, with stunning artwork and great pulls. A recent restock saw these sealed boxes come back into stores at RRP, giving a 30-50% price drop from scalpers.
The box contains: 1 Pikachu V foil promo, 1 Pikachu V jumbo V, 4 Shining Fates booster packs and a code card.

Build-a-Bear Plushies
Yes I may be 31, but I do have a Pikachu and Eevee from Build-a-Bear 😅They’re great quality and have a range of fun customisations that can also be purchased. There used to be promo cards distributed with them, but not sure if that’s still the case.
Now that COVID-19 restrictions are lifting the in-store experience is really fun, so if you can make it to a nearby branch I’d definitely recommend it!
£50+

Pokémon Munch / Scream Art Set
Probably one for an older collector to appreciate, the Munch promo set is absolutely stunning. I’ve recently posted about why this is my favourite set, so be sure to check that out.
You’ll probably only be able to find Eevee, Psyduck and Rowlet on retailer websites, as the Pikachu and Mimikyu variants are quite a bit more expensive and sought after.

Jet Black Geist Booster Box
If you’re more into your Japanese cards, then the recent Jet Black Geist release should be top of your list. With 30 packs (5 cards in each pack) there are plenty of fun to be had tearing through them!
It’s a stunning set, especially the Shadow Rider Calyrex VMAX. If you get this card in a pack, please comment below and let me know as I love it!
Booster box price is currently £56.99.
